Overview

Association for a United Community and Social Intervention ACSIS is founded in 2004 as a private juridical person non governmental non political non religious and nonprofit and is accredited as a provider of social services.We are an experienced team supporting children and their families. The starting point was the Maternal Abandonment Prevention project (2000 2003) a project of the Swiss Terre des Hommes Foundation Lausanne which addresses young mothers at risk of child abandonment.Some of these mothers considered decisive the support that they have received in a difficult time of their lives prompting them to offer support in their turn for other mothers who are going through similar situations.For this purpose along with medical and social professionals they founded the Association for a United Community and Social Intervention (ACSIS).
