Providing Smokeless and Sustainable Cooking Energy.

Overview

Dazin provides an affordable and sustainable alternative to open fire cooking a major public health issue and driver of greenhouse gas emission and deforestation. They are presently working in Bhutan with inclusive supply and distribution chain of smokeless stoves and fuel made from local forestry waste. Instead of burning the forestry waste in open cooking fires rural households bring it to the Dazin Collection Points (CP). In exchange they receive free Fuel Cookies with a gasifying stove on lease which provides them with a smokeless easy to use cooker & heater. This forestry waste is densified into Fuel Cookies in a local factory.
