GenteGas provides affordable access to clean and efficient liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) stoves to poor families in Guatemala while offering a women entrepreneur microenterprise development program that teaches entrepreneurship and financial literacy. Their entrepreneurs generate income by offering families an affordable stove and tank package that can be financed with low interest from their local bank partner. The GenteGas sales network distributes health education directly into households.
