Overview

Green Gold Forestry (GGF) is a modern vertically integrated forest products company operating in Iquitos one of the poorest and most remote Amazonian regions of Peru. Founded in 2007 in the UK it has forest concessions and a modern sawmill facility in Iquitos. GGF extracts logs from its FSC certificated concessions using low impact practices. It also sources logs from remote Amazonian communities which also use legal and sustainable practices. GGF has a strong social sustainable and environmental philosophy. The sponsors are motivated by an actual interest in creating a profitable socially and environmentally responsible company. The company offers premium quality hardwoods products such as flooring and decking for international markets.
