Overview

I Care pads is developed in collaboration with Kenya Industrial Research and Development Institute (KIRDI) who carried out a feasibility study research on the product development and assessment of its impact to the girls and women. The process involved the end users who provided inputs and recommendations on the final product design. I Care has an approved standardization mark from the Kenya Bureau of Standards (Lake Region) a seal that grants Afri Can Trust the legal right to produce the pads at the Afri Can Centre. The production plant is operational and already thousands of branded packaged pads are being distributed to girls
