Overview

Janta Meals serves affordable meals to the working class population (blue collar) in Delhi NCR region. They operate a hub and spoke model where a central kitchen (run by women from the local community) prepares and distributes the meals to the franchisees and institutional clients like NGOs factories government bodies etc. The company prepares nutritious meals in a clean and hygienic kitchen and sells these through a network of micro entrepreneurs (franchisees) who are based among the target group. Through bulk purchasing efficient usage of fuel and mechanised cooking they can achieve prices as low as Rs. 20 for a meal.
