Overview

Kangu is a new crowdfunding platform that aims to decrease maternal and child mortality and morbidity by funding safe births worldwide specifically among marginalized pregnant women (mamas). Kangu lets a user (donor) search profiles of expectant mamas give $10 or more towards a specific mama's healthcare costs and spread the word through social networks to fully fund the mama. Kangu is currently partnering with local maternal and child health providers in Uganda and Nepal and rapidly expanding to other regions.
