La Red Guaconejo (La Red) is a small cocoa cooperative in the Dominican Republic. Established in 2003 and legally incorporated as a cooperative in 2008 La Red s goal is to export its members cocoa so farmers are no longer forced to sell locally to middlemen at low prices.
