Marine Gifts is an award winning social enterprise that works with low income women in Vietnam to conserve threatened marine and coastal environments. The enterprise aims to protect biodiversity promote gender equity and alleviate poverty by providing women with alternative employment opportunities that benefit conservation efforts. The Marine Gifts model includes organizing conservation expeditions to coastal environments selling handicrafts made from by products of marine areas and running vocational life skills and conservation trainings for women in Marine Protected Areas.And the marine eco tour at sea FB Discover Vietnam Nam is one coastal waters with 3200km of coastline and more than 1 million km2 territory is water. Vietnam Sea annually attracting 3 million tourists than 6 million international and domestic tourists with lots of beautiful beaches and diverse ecosystems. However behind the high end resorts sumptuous beaches beautiful women living around MPAs must live below the poverty unemployment information life skills the right decision ... Their lives become increasingly difficulties in the context of the fact that coastal Vietnam and other affected heavily by CLIMATE CHANGE. Every year marine tourism brings income to hundreds of millions of dollars.
