Americas |Overview
The Central California Regional Obesity Prevention Program (CCROPP) received a $7800 grant to support the development of a pilot project for an aggregation and distribution system that connects small family farms in the San Joaquin Valley with under resourced small urban and rural stores. The distribution network is a wholesale source of fresh produce for stores in communities where access to fresh produce is limited or non existent. The project focuses on developing a long term self sustaining model that can create a supply chain for locally grown affordable produce for small stores throughout the San Joaquin Valley.
