Overview

Motivated by the success of his experiments Masagi began to further develop his ideas and share them with neighboring farmers. Increased success prompted him to expand those technologies beyond only farmers and embrace other sectors that could benefit greatly from improved water conservation technologies such as industries and private homes.rnTo formalize and bring structure to his wish to bring water literacy to India Masagi founded a non government organization Water Literacy Foundation in 2005. Since that time it has been expanding its work to affect an increasing number of people and hopes to continue in the same manner. In addition to his technical projects Masagi is a frequent guest speaker in all varieties of public settings. He also published a book on rainwater harvesting technology Nela Jala Jana in 2003.
