Terras App Solutions is a startup company founded in August 2014 to develop innovative Apps running in mobile and desktop platforms for land management social environmental risk monitoring and traceability of rural properties and agriculture forest and non timber forest products and of environmental services (i.e. water carbon stocks biodiversity among others).Terras uses state of the art cloud computing and develops agile geospatial analyses of ground digital maps as well as remote sensing. Terras Apps connect people and rural properties for and the entire supply chain being inclusive from small enterprises and local agroforestry communities to large corporations.Terras products and services are designed to Increase land productivity by integrating field remote sensing and analyses of spatial big data. Increase efficiency in managing teams that conduct field work. Cost reduction using information from geospatical logistic applications. Reduction of business risk by monitoring plantations with Apps for pest and diseases control. Increase of transparency of the supply chain.Terras wants to contribute to generate positive impacts by creating deforestation free zones for rural production and by maintaining environmental services for the entire society.
