Overview

The George Institute for Global Health is a renowned international medical research organization that has built a large high impact program of innovative healthcare research and enterprise spanning more than 50 countries worldwide. To support its global and regional programs the Institute has established four major centres in Australia China India and the United Kingdom in collaboration with the University of Sydney Peking University the Public Health Foundation of India and the University of Oxford respectively. These centres collectively employ more than 300 staff. The Institute s researchers are global leaders in preventive cardiology nephrology vascular neurology epidemiology intensive care musculoskeletal medicine and injury prevention.
