Three Wheels United India Services Private Limited (TWU) is a Bangalore India based social enterprise working on issues in the auto rickshaw ecosystem. rnrnStructured as a social business we are a for profit company but our primary goal is development social economic political attitudinal and behavioural of the auto rickshaw driver community. rnOur business model works on a three pronged solution financial services alternate sources of revenue and clean tech for auto rickshaw engines with which we aim for financial inclusion of drivers social security driver ownership of auto rickshaws freedom from moneylender mafia higher income and positive environmental impact. A conservative estimate of impact through our composite solution shows at least 70% higher earnings 30 50% higher fuel mileage and about 40% lower emissions. TWU also engages drivers through community meetings with a vision of making them self reliant enterprising and progressive minded.
