Veritas seeks to synthesize the technological capability of the poor (most of them have cellphones) with market needs. This synthesis intends to help build relationships for the common good through the triple bottom line people planet profit. Veritas would like to internalize the true cost of what we buy including the environmental costs of extracting raw material and marketing and disposing it. This solidarity helps guide the behavior of producers and consumers in our globally connected world. An ethical economy helps create a functioning society. Veritas is guided by the internalized and institutionalized principles of integrity solidarity and creativity in order to bring about an economy that is based on justice and the common good. This is the best way to create a world of freedom and justice integrating local enterprises into the global economy based on fair trade policies.
