Overview

AngelVest was founded by a group of professionals who saw a shortage of institutions in China helping entrepreneurs think about their businesses in a formalized way. This gap afforded angel investors the opportunity to seek and pursue investment opportunities in China s startup domain. The AngelVest Steering Committee aspires to cultivate a Chinese ecosystem wherein entrepreneurs can find value added early stage investors with a strong desire to help local startups. AngelVest General Members participate by helping our organization source and evaluate investment opportunities and by providing strategic counsel to companies that join the AngelVest portfolio. While our members all share a passion for investing and working with entrepreneurs one of our objectives is to provide economic incentives to encourage active participation by the General Membership. While still a relatively young organization AngelVest has garnered significant attention and support from leading professionals in Shanghai Beijing and Hong Kong.
