Overview

ASA International (ASAI) is formed by ASA a leading micro finance organization of Bangladesh and Catalyst Micro finance Investor (CMI) a Netherlands based equity partner on a joint venture in April 2007. Currently ASAI is operating in eight countries including India Pakistan the Philippines Sri Lanka Nigeria Ghana Cambodia Kenya and Uganda. ASA International s vision is to empower the poor to help them lift themselves out of poverty. ASA International intends to establish MFIs in countries in Asia and Africa to deliver need based financing right at the door step of the poor. It intends to become the market leader in each country in terms of ease of transaction relevance of services offered and affordability.
