Overview

The Impact Finance Center which includes faculty practitioners foundations and investors is an applied academic partnership that engages in cutting edge research and development the area of impact investing. Impact investing is an emerging field that focuses on how to finance projects with the public benefit (i.e. retrofits financing nonprofit buildings affordable housing green buildings renewable energy projects conservation projects etc. nonprofit organizations for profit companies and funds) by developing new sources of capital and financing tools. The Impact Finance Center is a partnership with the Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors Sustainable Endowments Project and University of Denver and is led by the founder Dr. Stephanie Gripne University of Denver Daniels College of Business.
