Overview

Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) is an S&P AA rated (as of October 2020) not for profit and a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI). Since 1979 LISC and affiliates have invested $24 billion to redevelop urban neighborhoods and rural communities through investments in affordable housing health education public safety and employment. With residents and partners LISC forges resilient and inclusive communities of opportunity across America great places to live work visit do business and raise families. LISC operates through local offices in 37 cities and through a national rural program in 2200 counties across 46 states. At FYE 2020 LISC s total assets exceeded $1.1 billion.
