Overview

The Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) is a not for profit company and represents an innovative model of public private partnership. Incorporated under section 42 of the Companies Act 1984 it follows the regulatory requirements of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan. Goal To alleviate poverty through empowering poor people and increasing their access to income and opportunities ensuring a focus on the most vulnerable and marginalized groups Objectives To strengthen the institutional capacity of civil society organizations and support the creation of organizations of the poor that can work together to alleviate poverty and achieve MDGs To build public private partnerships with the purpose of increasing market access and market share for poor communities. To ensure that public services for poor communities are available and adhere to identified quality standards
