Overview

The Rockefeller Brothers fund was founded in 1940 by the sons of John D. Rockefeller Jr. to help advance social change that contributes to a more just sustainable and peaceful world. Since 2010 RBF mobilized resources beyond grantmaking capital aligning endowed assets with its programmatic mission. Combating climate change sits at the heart of RBF. The RBF began a two step process to divest from fossil fuels in September 2014.
