Overview
Skopos Impact Fund ( Skopos ) is a global private impact investing fund with the aim to promote human dignity and social justice through impact investing. The capital that Skopos invests is from endowed philanthropic resources of the Brenninkmeijer family entrepreneurs. The fund builds on a heritage of charitable engagement that dates back to Clemens and August Brenninkmeijer the two brothers who founded the clothing retailer C&A in 1841. As the business grew and expanded globally the generations of family entrepreneurs that followed continued and solidified that tradition of private charitable giving. The entity was incorporated and issued its first commitments in the fall of 2014. Skopos looks to invest 100 million euros in the next two years.
