The Footprint Foundation was formed in 2012 when the Lyndhurst Foundation reorganized to create a new community led board. The reorganization spun off five smaller family foundations including the Chattanooga based Footprint Foundation.Inspired by the city of Chattanooga s vibrancy the commitment and spirit of its citizens and the natural beauty of the region the Footprint trustees strive to honor their family s legacy by supporting people who work to preserve and build upon the uniqueness of place.
