Overview

Founded in 1989 the Thompson Education Foundation supports educational efforts and opportunities for youth within the Thompson School District.Thompson Education Foundation manages funds that support a variety of educational initiatives in the Thompson School District. Some of programs supported include Great Idea and Founders Grants Classroom and school grants up to $2000 Help Kids Succeed The annual school supply drive that provides supply stuffed backpacks for students of need each year. In Fall 2013 TEF provided 1500 backpacks representing 1 in 10 students enrolled in TSD. Elementary Instrumental Music Annually provides recorders to every 3rd grader in the district Elementary Field Trips Supports curriculum based field trips for every 2nd 4th and 5th grade student in the district Educator Appreciation Supports the annual Educator of the Year Awards and Educator Appreciation Breakfast Early Childhood Education through the Loveland Classic road race
