Overview
Brian Shillinglaw manages Forest Carbon Partners’ investment activities, including forest carbon project origination, offset project development, and investor relations. He also oversees New Forests’ U.S. carbon policy activities, with an emphasis on advocacy and analysis of forest carbon protocols and climate legislation in the United States. Brian holds an A.B. in Social Studies from Harvard University, a J.D. from Stanford Law School and a M.S. from the Interdisciplinary Program on Environment and Resources at Stanford University. He has also undertaken doctoral studies in historical ecology at Yale University. Brian is based in San Francisco, and he is a member of the State Bar of California.
