Overview
Carsten received a Master in Marine Biology from the IFM-Geomar Institute at the University of Kiel, Germany and a Ph.D. in fish nutrition at the Institute of Aquaculture in Stirling, UK. Before he worked as a researcher for NOAA in Milford, CT, USA and lectured a class of principal biology at Yale University. Carsten has been involved in several start-up businesses throughout his time as a student and is co-founder of AquaMac Germany GmbH as well as Borneo Galah Sdn Bhd, a company producing freshwater prawn in the Malayan part of Borneo.
