George Roter

Overview

George born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, George studied mechanical and biomedical engineering at the University of Waterloo before co-founding Engineers Without Borders Canada with Parker Mitchell in 2000. George has been recognized as one of Canada's leaders in the non-profit sector and believes that Canadians are passionate about driving social change. George brings energy and creativity to EWB's vision and strategy, and loves getting out into the world to talk about EWB and the ideas and values the organization embodies.
