Olaf Janke

Overview

Mr. Janke brings more than 20 years of global financial services experience to Aequitas Capital, where he is responsible for new capital deployment strategies, capital markets activities as well as Treasury and cash management. Mr. Janke served as Chief Financial Officer of the private real estate firm Fairway America LLC, where he led finance, accounting, investor relations, accounting and asset disposition functions. He served as treasurer at Communicant Semiconductor Technologies AG and as acting vice president of finance at The Industry Standard. Earlier in his career, Mr. Janke was head of debt advisory and a member of the management committee of JPMorgan Cazenove, global head of high yield capital markets at Commerzbank, senior vice president of GE Capital, and vice president at CSFB and Deutsche Bank. Over his career, he has raised more than $10 billion in debt capital, more than $3 billion in equity capital and advised more than $3 billion of M&A transactions. Among the companies he supported; Amazon.com, Verio, Hewlett Packard, Waterford Wedgwood/Rosenthal, Sixt, TUI, Viasystems, Cisco Systems, Wind River, Gartner Group, Celestic, Solectron, DDI, Air Berlin and Benchmark Electronics. Mr. Janke received an Executive MBA from INSEAD in France, one of the world's leading business schools, and has a degree with honors from the Center of Advanced Studies of Banking & Insurance in Germany.
