Randy Atkin

Overview

Randy manages Root Capital’s accounting, financial planning and analysis, governance and compliance, and treasury activities. He focuses on “impact first”, aiming to strengthen the development of back-office infrastructure to support our increasingly decentralized operations in Cambridge and field offices across Latin America and Africa. He draws on 18 years of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) experience, including posts at American Express and Fidelity Investments, and has performed in Treasury roles at ADP and American Express. He has also provided leadership support to Community Action Partners of Harvard Business School. Randy holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in industrial administration and engineering from Kettering University.
