Overview
Tim comes to us directly from the University of Waterloo, where he was Vice President, University Relations, with responsibility for the offices of communications and public affairs, government relations, and community relations & events. In a nutshell, Tim was responsible for building and maintaining positive and constructive relationships with key stakeholders, including the broader Waterloo-area community, and articulating the university’s mission, vision, values and aspirations. Tim previously held the role of vice-president, external relations on an interim basis from June 2011 to April 2012. Prior, he served as chief executive officer of the Accelerator Centre – a campus-based incubator for start-ups – and as the University of Waterloo’s associate vice-president, commercialization.
