Overview
Willem Nolens has over a decade of experience in establishing and managing social enterprises in Asia and Africa, in particular in the field of microfinance and renewable energy. In early 2011 Willem started the transformation of REF into a social enterprise, SolarNow. SolarNow sells high-quality solar home solutions to off-grid households in Africa with a hire purchase facility. The company is growing fast and already market leader in Uganda.
