Overview
An entrepreneur with over 24 years management experience in Latin America, he founded his first company in Nicaragua in 1988. In 1994 he started Futuro Forestal in Panama with the idea to implement an investment model based on sustainable and science-driven tropical reforestation. Andreas is an expert in structuring tropical reforestation projects with an emphasis on certified mixed species plantations. He takes an active role in the International Forestry Industry and is frequently asked to speak on forest investment topics. Andreas has studied Geography and Latin American Studies at the University of Hamburg and World Forestry Economics in Reinbek at the German National Wood Institute.
