Brian Oliver

Overview

Prior to joining us in 1997, Aequitas Executive Vice President Brian Oliver spent over 15 years in corporate banking where he utilized his expertise in financing middle-market companies in a wide variety of industries. His experience includes consulting and refinancing for distressed companies and high-growth companies, structuring acquisition financing for leveraged buyouts, real estate transactions, and structuring working capital and equipment loans. He became an Aequitas shareholder in 1999. While at Aequitas Mr. Oliver has participated in the structuring of over $1 billion in financial transactions. Mr. Oliver has a B.S. in Business from Oregon State University with an emphasis in Finance and a minor in Economics. He serves on the advisory boards of the Austin Entrepreneurship Program at Oregon State University, the Oregon & SW Washington Region of Young Life, and Search Ministries of Portland. Additionally, Mr. Oliver serves on the Budget Committee of the North Marion School District where his kids attend, and he remains highly active in leadership positions with his church and youth sports activities.
