Overview

Chris is an agricultural economist currently working for USAID/Malawi as a Policy, Partnerships and Digital Finance Specialist. He lead the Mission's engagement with and support for the private sector, Government and other donors supporting economic growth programs. Chris previous jobs have been in agricultural and food policy research. A Norman Borlaug LEAP Fellow, He have published on the impacts of Malawi's popular Farm Input Subsidy Program (FISP) on various household outcomes and farmer behavior. He hold a MS degree in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University and a Bachelors degree in Agribusiness Management from Bunda College of Agriculture.
