Dwipen Boruah

Overview

Dwipen graduated in 1990 as a Mechanical Engineer and completed his Post Graduate Programme on Renewable Energy (PPRE) from Oldenburg University, Germany. He has earned more than 20 years of experience in Renewable Energy Engineering design, Planning, Research, Project Management and Training. He has successfully completed a large number of projects of kW to MW capacity of different Renewable Energy Technologies like solar PV, solar thermal, CSP, micro hydro, wind-solar hybrid system, biomass gasifier etc in terms of Installation, O&M, procurement and project management. Dwipen has been working on the engineering design, development, implementation, Feasibility and Techno Economic due diligence of large grid connected PV power projects, off grid PV and Hybrid system design and optimization, Rural Electrification, Energy Policy and Regulatory Framework, Planning for developing solar cities and solar campus. He has the experience of working with a number of local, regional and national organisations in several countries and has proven knowledge of different renewable energy technologies, barriers for deployment, methods and approaches applied in the field of technology roadmaps.
