Mr. James Aloysius Charles Kennedy, CFA, has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc., since January 01, 2007. Mr. Kennedy serves as the President of T Rowe Price Associates Inc. He joined T. Rowe Price Group in 1978 as an Investment Analyst in the natural resources area and also served as its Director of Equity Research since 1987, Director of Equities since 1997 and as a Vice President from 1981 to 2006. Mr. Kennedy has played a key leadership role in developing its U.S. equity investment organization for nearly 20 years and, more recently, contributed to the expansion of its global equity investment capabilities. Prior to this, Mr. Kennedy was employed at General Electric and participated in their financial management training program. Mr. Kennedy has been a Director of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc., since 1996. He serves as a Director of T. Rowe Price Global Investment Services Limited and T. Rowe Price Global Asset Management Ltd. He serves as a Director of T. Rowe Price International, Inc. He serves as a Director of T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc. He serves as a Director and Trustee at 22 equity funds within the Price funds. He has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst accreditation. Mr. Kennedy also earned an A.B. from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from Stanford University, Graduate School of Business.
