Overview
Kathlyn Mead is an accomplished leader with 20 years of experience as a senior executive in the healthcare industry. Ms. Mead’s past leadership roles include Executive Vice President of The California Endowment; President and CEO of the San Diego Council of Community Clinics; Vice President Blue Shield of California; President and CEO of Sharp Health Plan; and Vice President of Children’s Hospital San Diego. Ms. Mead technical expertise span grants, nonprofits to the development of effective, quality health care networks and products. An active community advocate, Ms. Mead serves on the Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science Board of Trustees, and Alliance Healthcare Foundation Board of Trustees among others. Ms. Mead studied business and health information management at Regis University and received her M.B.A. from the University of Southern California.
