Overview
Michael Lundquist, Executive Director, has worked for 35+ years in community-based human services and developed the Polus Center’s international programs beginning in 1997. He has published articles on community based rehabilitation in the Journal of Mine Action and O & P World and presented at the World Bank, U.S. Department of State, Society for International Development, and numerous non-government organizations (NGO’s) throughout the world. He has been a guest speaker on subjects ranging from Strategies in International Development, Landmine Victims Assistance, and Valued Social and Economic Roles for People with Disabilities. He has presented at several universities and colleges including Michigan State University, Cambridge College, Smith College’s Kahn Institute and Bridgewater State University.
