Overview

Co Founder and Chief Executive Officer Born in Mogadishu Somalia Mohamed Ahmed moved to San Diego as a refugee in 1995. Mohamed graduated from Crawford High School (School of Law & Business) and then studied International Security and Conflict Resolution at San Diego State University in 2013 where he obtained his Bachelors of Arts and Sciences and currently pursuing his Masters in Postsecondary Educational Leadership with an emphasis in Student Affairs. Mohamed worked from a local community organization to national and international organizations allowing him to become a strong visionary leader. Mohamed is a leading voice in business and civic circles providing guidance to local leaders and organizations on community safety economic empowerment and affordable housing. He serves on the Mid City Police Captain s Advisory board and recently nominated to join the San Diego City Gang Commission by Mayor Kevin Faulkner and Council President Pro Tem Marti Emerald. Mohamed is also graduated of the Fred J. Hansen Institute for Leadership and International Cooperation where he was one of only four U.S. citizens accepted into the institute. He has been recognized for his leadership through numerous honors and awards including the San Diego State University Iscorian of the Year the Youth United Leadership Award Phi Beta Sigma Community Activist of the Year OceanLeaf Emerging Leaders Award and the Community Housing Works VALOR awardee.
