Overview
Rohit is currently working on mission to make southern Rajasthan towards financial, ecological, and cultural sustainability by self sustained farmers of self sustained villages. He is director of Banyan Roots and Vat Vriksh Foundation, Udaipur. Rohit Completed his Masters in Computer application from Fergusson College, Pune. He rejected the offer of corporate companies and started exploring himself by working in different different fields. First He volunteered in Collected Works of Mahatma Gandhi Project in Gujarat Vidhyapeeth. Now he is living in Udaipur. Before Starting Banyan Roots he was working with tribal of North Gujarat on education and livelihood in 2010. Where he found Lands are being poisonous day by day. Farmers are leaving farming due to unsustainability in farming and meanwhile consumers are getting poisonous and unsafe food. So he stared value and community base business model in October 2011 to solve these above mentioned issues. He is developing local village industries which can supply all basic food products (from wheat to fruit juices) for his nearby urban areas.
