Ryan is responsible for editorial direction of the BalikBayan section of Rappler. BalikBayan explores the collective identity of global Filipinos through news, features, crowdsourcing and conversations. Responsible for overseas audience growth with a special focus on the overseas Filipino communities. Assists in daily news desk tasks including editing and publishing Philippine and World News.
