Overview
In January of 2005, the course of my life had been paved for me: He was in line to receive my University degree in Business, had been hired by a major consulting firm, held a signing bonus in my pocket and the excitement of the big city lights within my reach. And yet I couldn’t help but wonder if this lifetime held something more for me; something apart from this identity I’d assumed. I knew I needed answers, so He applied for a position within a global volunteer network and received my invitation to work for a grassroots microfinance outfit in Uganda less than 24 hours later.
