Overview

Domestic service must be a decent occupation but in Peru it still means discrimination exploitation and abuse. Girls teenagers young women and older ones face exhausting workdays do not get payed are not allowed to go to school do not have days off do not have health insurance or other social benefits.Many domestic workers are disparaged because of their cultural background alienated from their families abused sexually harassed deprived of their personal documents and threatened if wanting to leave the employers house.
