Telemedicine is the process whereby medical services are provided through tele connectivity when the patient and the doctors are far away from each other.rnrnThe BNH Telemedicine centre was established on 29/8/2006 with fully furnished telemedicine consultation rooms with latest video conferencing equipments computer hardware and software for use of medical specialists. The centre has been provided with ISDN/ BRODBAND/ SATELITE connectivity to provide very clear image quality triple data transfer of voice patient profile and investigation reports simultaneously enabling specialist to see patient and give guidance to local physicians at remote centre. Along with this special software has been installed for store / forward transmission facility in computer hardware so that specialist can see the report of referred patients at ease and reply back.
