Overview

Fondem has intervened in 28 countries since its creation. Originally electrification projects would answer punctual social and economic needs (e.g. schools health centers water pumping etc.). Strengthened by this experience today the Foundation anchors its actions around three main axes Energy planning based on fieldwork that enables changes in scale and the development of operationally sustainable projects with regional scopes. This activity relies on our proprietary methodology Noria. Setting up and monitoring projects in the field. Close relations are created with our local partners whom we train and guide throughout the realization of our projects. In the case of all electrification projects special attention is brought to bolstering the awareness of local populations. The diffusion and capitalization of lessons learned.
