Overview

FabricAID collects 2nd hand clothes from Non Governmental organisations academic institutions and businesses. With each donation to FabricAID a partnering charity of the donors choice receives a financial incentive equivalent to the amount collected. The collected clothes are divided into 3 main categories The first category includes socks underwear damages and over consumed clothes which are sold to recycling companies abroad to be turned into raw materials used by clothing manufacturers. The second category is the major one and it includes casual clothing. Items from this category are sold at competitive prices to second hand shops which are usually located in poor neighborhoods and refugee camps. The third category includes high quality clothes that aren t usually demanded by 2nd hand shops. Items from this category are modified to fit the modern trend by renowned fashion designers and are sold through our mobile application retailing events and boutiques.
