Overview
Founded in 2008, First Universal Enterprises Limited (otherwise known as FUEL), was set up by Colin Bernard, David Dean and Frank Kweku to engage and support young people that were not in education, employment or training (NEET). His idea was to support and guide the harder to reach pupils of Nottingham schools and give them an education that they would engage with and gain qualifications from. Helped out by the Future Jobs Fund and other grants, the company got off to a big start and FUEL became a provision known by many within the first year.
