Overview

After 15 years of experimenting our Executive Director Bren Smith developed this underwater garden and started GreenWave a non profit dedicated to replicating and scaling this 3D Ocean Farming model. Our mix of training programs for unemployed fishers school to farm pipelines and incubation of ocean entrepreneurs is designed to implement GreenWave s vision of thousands of restorative ocean farms along our world s coastlines surrounded by conservation zones growing food fertilizers and energy. We see a future where our ocean farms are embedded in wind farms ailing fishing infrastructure is repurposed into platforms for restoration and innovation and a restorative ocean economy creates jobs and revives regional economies.
