Kidogo aims to unlock the potential of young children living in East Africa s informal settlements by providing high quality holistic early childhood care and education for less than one dollar per day. Through its innovative hub & spoke model Kidogo combines the sustainability of best practice hub centers that provide daycare and preschool services to working mothers with the scalability of a microfranchising program to support local Mamapreneurs starting or growing their own childcare spokes. By empowering mothers and giving young children the best start to life Kidogo is transforming the trajectory of families living in slums and helping break the cycle of poverty.
