At the same time individuals faith based organizations and businesses who so desperately want to help have few tools to find evaluate and contribute to projects that are truly making a difference for refugees. The NeedsList platform is a wedding registry model for the refugee crisis. Aid workers post lists of needs to the platform and supporters claim and meet the needs. Here s what it does Allows organizations groups or individual volunteers to list needs for goods services or donations in real time. Allows donors to immediately claim those needs by purchasing goods completing volunteer tasks or donating money. Surfaces promising models or technologies that are making a real impact in solving entrenched social issues supporting collaboration and making it easier for funders to identify the most promising innovations in the field.
